Last Friday we had a couple of plans set up. Early in the day we met up with JM and DS to eat at Tijuana Flats. It was great to see them, and the food was good, of course. We were chatting it up and I never got pics!

We checked into our hotel and got ready for dinner at Cerviche. We were meeting up at Cerviche for our friend, GC’s, 30th birthday. Half of us got there late, so we ended up eating later…but it all was fun and the food tasty.

Pete and I shared two dishes, because GC’s husband, EP, got the awesome PATATAS BRAVAS for the table. Pete and I had a delicious beef dish, SOLOMILLO A LA PARILLA, and a…well, I didn’t care for it..duck dish (PATO A LA PARILLA). I also got a tasty peach drink, and then Glenda shared her sparkling sangria with me (we all thought it tasted weird, but still drank it).

After, we were on our way back to the car to put our food in before checking out other places…when we got begged to go into Bliss. LOL. Okay, GC went up and asked the price, then came back to us (EP, Pete, and I) and we discussed. We all started walking toward the parking garage, but the lady asked us to please go in…and that it’d be free, and please be her guests. What, what? Well, of course, we had to go in. They held our food and stuff all special. I do think..it was because GC was all “cuted” up!

Pete and I have wanted to try Bliss before, but always passed because its $10 for guys to go in…so it was nice to try for free. They play music that we like…the lighting was cool. The place is a bit small, and filled up quick (while I had my back turned). I did not like the bathroom placement, but if I was on the dancefloor, I probably would. I’d go back…yep…I would.

It was a nice night and nice to see EP and GC, as it had been a year or more since we saw them. We all called it a night around 1am…and we headed back to our hotel.
