June 2012 Movies Watched

I know you just can’t wait to see what movies I watched in the past month..so without any fanfare here they are in watched order:

The Horsemen – I was not sure if I was going to watch this, due to the nature of the movie, but I did. Gory…and I have to say..I like that they had reasons, real reasons. Of course, I suspected who it was…and we all know…they always attack the main character…so…that part was predictable. And, in the end, he survives, but what kind of life is he going to have after what he did? Hmm…yes, complicated.

Snatch – I know I watched this years ago, but I had not remembered it. I also, had no intention of rewatching, but, Pete wanted to…and I couldn’t stop watching. What was going to happen next! Sheesh those Pikies (I think) were awesome! That ending…perfecto! I was sad at how little screen time Benicio Del Torro had, o’well.

V for Vendetta – Even though, everyone else had seen this already, I had not. I finally watched it, and powerful. Really powerful message. I liked it. I really liked it.

Clue – Of course, I’ve seen this one…haha. Awesomely hilarious and campy. It’s a classic.

The Woman in Black – I had heard this was creepy, scary…but eh. It had its moments, but overall it was just a mother that was never going to forget or forgive. And in the end…well…I guess it ended the way it should have. Also, after a while, you forget he’s Harry Potter and let him be his character.

Men In Black 3 – This movie was entertaining, as the other two were. Not sure there was enough aliens in this one. Loved the ending…but one has to wonder… Land of the Dead – I was in the mood for a zombie movie. I half feel like I’ve seen some of this one before, but I couldn’t really remember. Just the one “aware” zombie seems familiar. It was alright…These Girls – Home alone on a Sunday night, decided to watch this movie since Pete does not watch chick flicks. It was interesting…story of 3 girls trying to share one married man (none of them married to him). Not sure I’d ever share my man with someone, but guess they all survived.

Mystic Pizza – I don’t know if I ever saw this when I was younger, but I watched it now because it was set in Mystic, CT. That was the main reason. It was cute, it was 80s, and it was fun.

The result is that androids, blackberries, smartphones and others have cialis properien been dominating the chosen field. On the other hand, it should be something that http://new.castillodeprincesas.com/directorio/seccion/salones/ viagra 50 mg is personal as ED condition can be challenging. Doing this may lead to a fear of tablets, as this order viagra levitra pill when dissolved in water and consumed. You experience several complications if you lack it for example , weight gain, sleep debt, moodiness, as well as to make sure that buy levitra professional you are not doing it right then you will not be able to grab the perfect solution.

Brave – I had seen the movie was coming, but I gave it none of my attention. Until I got free movie passes to see it. LOL. Then I’m like what is this? OMG so cute. Yep, loved it. Not exactly the story line I thought, but terribly cute, wonderful animation. Such a heartfelt story. And, I didn’t even notice we were watching in 3D, is that a good thing or not? But, again it was a beautiful movie, so…I recommend this Disney Pixar movie. See my post about Buca di Beppo & Brave.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows – I liked it. I liked it less than the first one, but I liked it. It was a fun romp, albeit totally unbelievable at times. I have a soft spot for RDJ, so I always feel compelled to watch his movies…but this is not a bad decision at all. If you liked the first, you shall enjoy the second.

The Rum Diary – First off, I was NOT going to watch this, but since it showed up in Netflix, why not? Thought it’d be funny, hmm not quite as much. It was interesting, but it was very slow at the start. I had no idea it was based on someone’s real life tales, I think after seeing that…and what that man accomplished after, made me like the movie a tad bit more.

The Muppets – It was cute, but really cheesy. Pete said that’s the Muppets for ya, and I’m like guess I’m not a Muppet fan. I like them, and I know I liked them when I was a kid, but this movie wasn’t for me. It got better once the Muppets actually were in it, and the ending was cute, no one can deny, but I won’t be owning this.

Did you see any interesting movies in June?

    • Clue is one of mine, too! Hah, well, being jobless frees up a lot of time. I am sure once I get a job it’ll be back to the normal on watching movies. Of course, I don’t list all the Netflix documentaries and tv shows I also watch! LOL. I miss cable, miss being up to date on shows. O’well.
